Once in Your Lifetime

Once in your lifetime, you will find someone who will go breaking your heart. Leave some memories, leave some scar, leave your heart in a deep hole. You want to escape, as soon as possible, as far as you can go. You want to scream out loud. You want to throw everything away. You listen to every sad song, you listen to happy song, and call up every moment that ever happened with that person. You try to hear some new song, but still memories of that person bear in your mind. Sometimes, you drive back home passing through the road that you usually go with that person, you will smile, remember how often you take this way without realizing it. Sometimes you cry over night on your pillow, leave the dark circle around your eyes. You remember every funny thing, every laugh, every kisses, every fight, every cry, everything about you and that person. You feel like dying. You sometimes want to die. You feel aching in all of your body. You live in half-alive condition. You want to curse and you want to hate. Yet, you still miss that person. You want to punch that person with all of your strength, but you still want to hug him tightly. You want to go far away. Yet, you still longing for that person’s presence.  Sometimes, you wonder, what if you choose different decision? Would it changes anything between you and that person? Sometimes, you would be so sure, that every choices that had been made, was the only thing you can do.  Yeah, still, sometimes you just want to forget everything. You just want to run to that person. You just want to stay with that person forever and ever like every promises that had been made before. You feel like you can’t live without that person. Your days seems so meaningless when that person is not around anymore. Once in your lifetime, you will find a name that will leave you in complicated situation. Make everything so hard even just for breathing. Make you think that you can’t love anyone else, even if that person is not with you anymore.

Well, that is life.

You can’t expect to be happy forever. Even Cinderella had to suffer before she lived happily ever after.

The fact is, in the end you will survive. No matter what.

You will cry, you will scream, you will curse, you want to die, but still you will alive. Every places, every roads that you take, every songs that you listen, will recall all of the old memories. But still, you will not cry anymore after several times. There are no shortcut to jump over your broken heart. There are no painkiller to heal your wounds faster. You just have to go through it. You will eat more ice cream, you will pick the most delicious food in the world, you will go out from home, hanging out with your friends, making some new friends, buying new clothes, new lipstick, bags, shoes, everything. You will do some work out more often, driving your new car, getting new job, making some new memories. You will have another dreams, setting another goals, trying so hard to get everything that you always wished for. The fact is, you will achieve many things that you couldn’t even imagining before. You will keep telling your friend about that person, over and over again until your friends get bored. Until you get sick of it. Until you realize everything about that person are just some old memories, and you have already gone too far to just keep repeating same old romance-story that had already ended. You still miss that person. Yes. But you won’t call that person anymore. You will wait until those feeling disappear by its own.

Once in your lifetime, you will find a special person that makes your heart flutter, makes your day brighter, and also makes your life so colorful. That special person is also the one who will teach you different taste of live. Sometimes its sweet, sometimes its bitter, sometimes its plain, sometimes its sour.

Once in your lifetime, you will recall one special name. A name that will always makes you realize that you can survive and you can alive, no matter what. So, even the love-story-thingy had already ended, you will feel grateful for meeting that special person with special name. Because of that special person, you are ready to face the world and be prepared to grow stronger than ever.
